Chief Rachael Okwudili Iliemena-Ifeanyi, PhD, ACA, MAMSSRN, has been nominated by the African Intercontinental Network (AIN) as a Youth Impact Awardee and Diplomatic Dialogue Delegate at the forthcoming 100 Global Impact Personalities Summit/Award.

The event is scheduled to take place on 30 September 2026 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, Nigeria, bringing together selected personalities and stakeholders from Africa and beyond for discussions on global leadership, diplomacy and sustainable development.

The theme of the 2026 summit is “Integrating the Global Framework,” while the Diplomatic Dialogue will focus on:

How can we integrate the Global Framework in accounting to promote sustainable development?

The dialogue places particular emphasis on the relationship between accounting, global development frameworks and sustainable development outcomes.

Dr. Iliemena-Ifeanyi’s participation is connected to her professional and academic work in accounting, sustainability reporting, governance and sustainable development research. She has conducted research examining the relationship between sustainability practices and financial and development outcomes, while also engaging in professional activities relating to financial management, governance and reporting.

Her involvement in community development also forms part of her broader social-impact activities. She founded a non-governmental organisation in 2009, through which she has been involved in community-focused initiatives and social interventions over the years. Her activities have included areas relating to community service, youth development, mentorship and social impact.
